Brand alarm on Monday evening in the Tyrolean Zillertal: In the house of an 84-year-old seniors there was a kitchen fire after the woman apparently had forgotten a pan with oil on the stove. A neighbor hurried to help and could control the flames. The alarmed fire brigade has still performed deferment.
Shortly after 7 p.m. the domestic scenes took place in the house in Udern. According to the police, the 84-year-old resident had heated oil in a pan and then left the kitchen. “When the woman returned after a while, she saw the fire,” the police said.
Neighbor hurried with fire extinguishers
The seniors warned her neighbors, who immediately touched the flames and fought with a fire extinguisher. “After other neighbors had warned the fire brigade, around 30 emergency services from the Unders Fire Brigade moved to the fire object,” the researchers continued. These then carried out reversing work.
Fortunately no injuries
There was enormous damage in the kitchen area. The height cannot yet be quantified. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
