A total of 3,500 households in five Tyrolean communities were hit by a power failure on Thursday morning. A tree that fell as a result of the violent hairdryer had cut a high voltage line. The Fitters of the State -ownership Tinetz immediately worked on the recovery of the network.
Shortly after 7 a.m. it was suddenly dark in many households to the west of Innsbruck. All in all, five communities were hit – Zirl, Inting, Sellrain, Ranks and Oberperfuss. 44 networking stations could not be delivered. “More than 3,500 households were initially affected,” says Christian Ammer van de Tinetz about “Krone” question.
Gradually restored network
While in four municipalities the power supply could be restored within an hour within an hour, it was still dark in Sellrain. Around 8.15 am 234 customers were still without electricity.
Shortly after 8.30 am Final All -Clear. The diet was restored to all communities.

The reason for the power failure was quickly clarified: “Due to the storm, a tree fell into a 25,000-volt line in the Sellrain,” Tinetz expert Ammer continues. Work to remedy the damage started immediately.
