In China there will soon be the highest bridge in the world

The bridge over the Huajiang gorge in China will be opened in the summer. At an altitude of 625 meters she will set a new record. Your construction time can also be a record.

The official start was on January 18, 2022, the completion is planned for 30 June 2025. The superlative building is a few hundred kilometers north of the border with Vietnam in a mountainous area. The height difference between the mountain and the valley is extreme with the Huajiang Gorge.

Three times as heavy as Eiffel Tower
The Huajiang Suspension Bridge is made of steel, is 2890 meters long and has a main span of 1420 meters. The weight of the steel beams is 22,000 tons, so the building is three times as heavy as the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
