The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, announced this Saturday a truce for Ukraine on the occasion of Easter commemorations.
The “stopping of all military activities” on the Russian part started at 6:00 PM. Today (Moscow Time, 5:00 pm in Euskal Herria) and will last until midnight, local time, on Monday 21 April (23:00 on Sunday here), as announced by the Kremlin.
The reaction to the Easter cars will demonstrate Kyiv’s sincerity about his desire to participate in the peace negotiations, as Putin has known in the statement published by the Kremlin in his Telegram account, accompanied by a verbal explanation of the President collected by the TASS agency.
“We hope that the Ukrainian part will follow our example. At the same time, our troops must be prepared to ward off potential rapes of the armor and provocations of the enemy, as well as any aggressive action from you,” Putin added.
In this respect, he assured Kiev more than a hundred times the 30 -day energy management that Moscow declared unilaterally on March 18 and that Ukraine was joined a week later by mediation of the United States.
In turn, he emphasized that Russia was’ always’ willing to participate in the peace negotiations and the attempts of the US President, Donald Trump, but also of the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, and of the countries of the BRICS group that ‘supporters are’ supporters’.
Putin, who is expected to go to the Pascual Vigil in the cathedral of Christ Salvador in Moscow tonight, improved this announcement after Trump’s Ultimatum, who warned that if there was no progress in negotiations with Russen and Ukraine in “matter of days”.
