A young Syrian is said to have stolen a car in Wörgl (Tyrol) on Saturday evening to do a trip. The journey came to an end because a tire was so badly damaged by a curb that the car was no longer ready to drive – then the man set the car on fire without further claim.
The young man brought the car of a 33-year-old into operation without permission shortly before midnight. The car was supposedly inaltered and the vehicle key would have been in the car.
The 14-year-old undertook the trip in the Wörgl area before she suddenly ended after touching a circle on a roundabout on Tyrolean Straße (B171). The man parked the car in the municipal area of Schwoich (Kufstein District) in the Kufsteiner Wald and set a fire in the area of the tank.
ID -Forgotten
Around 3.20 pm a witness from the police reported that a damaged car started burning the fuel cap. An incoming police patrol quickly got the flames with a fire extinguisher. The officials discovered an ID of the 14-year-old at the passenger seat, but were presented with the police shortly after 5 hours.
