The old spokesperson Thomas Zach of the ORF Foundation Council leaves the long -term ÖVP “Freundeskreis”. He announced this on Friday morning. He made the decision “with a view to professional and family challenges,” he said. Unfortunately, these are not compatible with the great time of volunteering.
In recent years “and associated important course for the company’s pit range -from the media location project to sustainable financing and multimedia transformation of ORF,” Zach said in his farewell letter. He worked for 14 years at the ORF Foundation Council.
The ÖVP then thanked a broadcast for many years of use. “In his 14 years as a board of directors, he worked for twelve years (…) as chairman of the Financial Committee. In addition, together with the new management of Roland Weißmann, he promoted modernization and digitization from 2021,” said ÖVP secretary -Secretary Nico Nico.
Not the only farewell
On Wednesday, Lothar Lockl had already announced that he would withdraw as chairman of the foundation. He also justified this step with the “huge amount of time”. Neos Foundation Councilor Anita Zielina recently announced her resignation.
In the future, the federal government can send six instead of nine people to the 35-person ORF committee. Until 5 May they are still being sought in a tender.
