On Tuesday, the finances and the foreign police carried out joint focus controls in East Styria, and they thought a lot of what they were looking for during a fruit growth buyer in Stubenberg. The officials initially found five illegal harvest helpers from Georgia between the ages of 21 and 34 years. Two men from Turkey (35 and 46) reported in Germany if the previous one – against them was already arranged!
The two Turks also had no approval of labor legislation for Austria. All seven people were arrested and came to the Police Reces Center, the Federal Office for Foreign Affairs and Asylum (BFA) will deal with them. Against the 46-year-old Turks, it is also being investigated on suspicion of fraudulent registration.
Moreover, the police met five harvesting machines from Ukraine (between 38 and 43 years old). They only had a German residence permit and were therefore working illegally in Styria. The women were also temporarily arrested, the BFA ordered their immediate departure from Austria.
