The third vice -president of the government and Minister of the Ecological transition and the demographic challenge, Sara Aagsen, presents the second meeting of the committee founded by the Government of Spain for the analysis of the Electric Black -out of 28 April.
The meeting will continue to analyze the data provided by the system operator, electric red, and by the electric companies, with the aim of determining the causes of the electrical crisis that influenced Spain and Portugal last Monday.
The meeting takes place on the electric red head office. The first meeting, held on Wednesday afternoon, was held at the Ministry of Ecological Transition, department that leads this analysis committee founded by the director.
This committee has already received “a lot” of the information claimed to companies in the electricity sector, but “in view of the technical complexity” to gain access to certain data, part of it is still collected by companies.
On Friday, the committee claimed when writing new requests for information aimed at the agents of the sector “to complete the reconstruction of the incident.” In particular, details were requested on the hours before the Black -out and the supply replacement process. Red Eléctrica has already completed the delivery of all the data that the committee had already requested, according to the company on Thursday.
