“Suddenly hell broke out,” said a man from the German Kaltenbrunn. Hailcorn fell out of the sky and caused white areas in the landscape. The channel sometimes had difficulty absorbing the rainwater.
The local fire brigade had to leave and pump out a basement. “Otherwise the operations are still limited,” said the Fire Brigade Command district.
Major damage as a result
In the neighboring district of Güssing, the storm also caused missions. Here too, cellars were pumping and guilty ways to erase again. Large damage is also expected in agriculture. The emergency services did not want to give everything -clear: “We have to wait for the coming hours.”
