The dog of the well -known film producer Wolf Bauer (75) died in a tragic accident for an Italian restaurant in Berlin. The former Federal Minister of Finance and FDP -Baas Christian Lindner was behind the steering wheel of the vehicle.
As the German “photo” only reports, the accident took place not so long ago in the parking lot of a restaurant in the west of Berlin in Berlin. Accordingly, the little dog – a Norfolk -Terrier – was not at the leash at the time of the accident and was under the vehicle that Lindner sent.
All help was too late for animals
Eyewitnesses report to the newspaper that Lindner is not the fault. The dog was very small and was hardly seen from the driver’s seat. The politician also focused on the surrounding people in maneuvering.
After the incident, Lindner responded immediately, visibly affected and tried for medical help. He tried to reach a vet or a nearby veterinary clinic. Nevertheless, all help came too late for the animal.
Lindner: “I’m very sorry”
Compared to the “photo”, the FDP boss gave the incident for the first time on Friday: “I did not know that the dog has died now. The dog owner and I did not exchanged contact details, he had not introduced me. I am very sorry that the dog died.”
Wolf Bauer, known for productions such as “Der Medicus”, did not want to comment on the newspaper. According to “Bild” information, a puppy now helps him about the loss.
