493 euros have disappeared – the climate is not replaced if there is a loss

Date:

It is not clear to many Salzburg public users that the transferable annual ticket also entails risks, for example in the case of theft. However, this is clearly regulated in the rate instructions.

An excited “crown” reader fell out of all the clouds last week when he called for a replacement for his lost “climaticket Salzburg Classic Plus”. The annual ticket for all Salzburg publications costs 493 euros per year – but there is no replacement due to loss. “You just have to be able to block them,” the audience is used.

That is not the case. Because: “With the physical transfer of his transferable climaticket Salzburg Classic Plus, the cardboard owner can transfer his rights rights to each person,” says the Salzburg Transport Association (SVV). So everyone can use the annual ticket, not just the owner or family members.

Many municipalities offer their citizens these annual tickets. The fact that the special ticket is not replaced is clearly regulated in the rate instructions. It says: “Personal, non -transferable climatic kits from Salzburg will be replaced when presenting an official loss report and paying the replacement exhibition costs. Timable annual tickets are not replaced.”

Even if the card is blocked, it would be difficult to find out that it is no longer valid. These are only scanned on the trains, but not at the locations and mailbox.
