25,000 euros were able to conquer strangers with an unsuspecting Tyrolean (55) who wanted to buy a car on a sales platform on the internet. The contact broke off, the money has disappeared.
At the end of April, a 55-year-old discovered his desired vehicle on a fake advertising platform that was supposedly managed by a car company in Germany. “After the man received all the documents, he transferred the agreed purchase price of 25,000 euros,” said the police.
There is no car company
After the Tyroolean was again contacted by the supposed company, every contact broke off and the advertised car was not delivered.
“His own survey of the man, whom he carried out before the display, was reimbursed on Monday, showed that the sales company clearly does not exist at all,” said the executive power.
