In particular, it is about the mandatory reservation for access to the old city on certain holidays and the introduction of an access card for day visitors. Measures are also checked to prevent the problem of receiving ambulances in the clogged streets of the center.

“Sirmione is a gem that we want to keep open to tourists, but with balance and respect for the residents,” said the security officer of the city, Massimo Padovan. According to him, the introduction of a mandatory booking system for the center is necessary. Sirmione is not allowed to suffocate under the tourist mass.
