In a channel in Northern Germany in Schleswig-Holstein, workers have discovered a dangerous vulture turtle, caught and baptized the “Gabi”. The animal may now become a protected area in a protected area.
The twelve kilogram Vier scented turtle, which came to light during a chess cleaning, was with an almost certainty in the Stör river, the neighborhood manager of the Wildlife and Species Protection Center, Christian Erdmann said.
“Stop nationwide”
“There is a national ban on these dangerous turtles,” said Erdmann. Almost exactly a year ago, a walker discovered such a reptile in Baden-Württemberg on an unpaved road. The police warned of caution in vulture turtles. Because of their great corrosive power, they may be able to break people and animals.
The Basel Zoo writes: “Your pines is so strong that you can cheat a broomstick. A human finger would be about the same challenge for your jaw as for our one salt bar.”
“Gabi” is healthy and strong
In the North -German nature station there is a secure pond housing for exotic water turtles, as the station manager said. “Gabi” could stay there until mediation. It’s in good health. “Who knows how long she lived in the sturgeon. There are enough food there” – such as fishing, scratching, snails and ducks.
