Murderer executed – for poison injection: “I am ready to go”

Date:

Glen Rogers has been convicted of the murder of two women – now he has paid for it. On Thursday, the man who is known as “Cross-Country Killer” was executed in the American national state of Florida. It was already the 16th performance in the United States this year.

According to the authorities, the death sentence against 62-year-old Glen Roger was enforced on Thursday (local time) in the federal prison in the city of Raiford with a poison injection and was declared dead at 6.16 pm.

In November 1995, the serial killer initially killed 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs in the US state of Florida. He had met the 34-year-old mother of two children in a bar, as the AP press agency reported.

In California, Rogers killed the 33-year-old Sandra Gallagher. He also met the three -year -old mother in a bar. There were only a few weeks between the two murders. Rogers was stopped on the highway after a chase – in the car of Cribbs. In two other murder cases in the American States Mississippi and Louisiana, Rogers was also suspected as a perpetrator.

“I’m ready to go”
For his execution, Rogers thanked his wife, who, according to the visitor protocols, had visited him that day. A bit cryptic, he said that “your questions will be answered in the near future”. He also expressed his appreciation for US President Donald Trump. “I am ready to go,” he concluded and the syringe was managed.

16 people are now executed in the United States. US President Donald Trump is in favor of the death penalty.
