Passengers scared – Covering the engine solved during the flight

Date:

On Friday morning the passengers of a machine of the Chinese airline Mandarin Airlines lived by the passengers of a machine. A passenger on board the ATR 72-600 TurboProp aircraft has recorded a video, which shows that the engine was opened on the left wing.

The cover fluttered violently and looked at the interior of the turboprop engine. Moreover, the plane started to wiggle scary. The incident took place on Friday morning (local time) shortly after the start of the Kaohsiung International Airport, the second largest airport in Taiwan, such as Flighradar24, an online service for the real -time aircraft.

Because of the problem with the lid, the machine started to wobble too easily. Passengers who looked from the cockpit rames saw how the engine cover released and then bent under the influence of the strong air flows.

A frightened passenger described after the landing: “The plane started not long after the start. Everyone looked out the window and started screaming after the stewardesses. The most frightening was that the stewardesses said nothing, but you could see fear in their eyes. That made me worried.”

Pilots served the machine safely
The pilots declared an emergency during the flight and sent the turboprop machine back to Kaohsiung, where it landed safely. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of mechanical failures.

Mandarin Airlines is a regional subsidiary of China Airlines and runs a fleet of twelve aircraft. The airline, founded in 1991, focuses on regional connections within Taiwan.
