In the German North Friesland, a 20-year-old kidnapped his own brother (6) from Kindergarten. To release him again, he asked for a ransom, the police said on Tuesday.
A woman had reported that her brother had picked up the child on Tuesday without the permission of the kindergarten in the Bredstedt area (Schleswig-Holstein). He threatened to do something about the boy if no ransom was paid. The 20-year-old had sent a photo of the six-year-old who showed the boy in an unknown place.
A few hours later he was arrested in Langenhorn. He resisted, as the police said. The child was no longer with him, but could be found well with a friend of the suspect. This should not have been involved in the kidnapping.
The young man is still in police detention and must be brought to a judge during the day. In the beginning there were no further details. It is determined for suspicion of the extinct crowd.
