Andréi Portnov, exassor of the former Ukrainian President Víktor Yanukóvich, was killed this Wednesday morning in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). After leaving his children at American College, he was shot by several people when he would step into his car and died on the spot for the injury.
Portnov, 52, was an excellent figure from the Yanukóvich government between 2010 and 2014, which became one of the most important advisers. He was accused of participating in the repression of the pro-European manifestations of the Maidan before fled from Ukraine and was involved in various investigations into corruption and human rights violations.
