Loving Rescuer – To Odyssey: Afval around the Little Hedgehog “Willi”

Date:

Two animal rights activists from the Lower Austria have saved life to the dying hedgehog “Willi”. Now the small pointed animal is fighting back. It is not yet clear whether “Willi” can make it – his chance of survival is only 20 percent. A dramatic case.

When the former post commander of Rabenstein, Gerhard Sterkl and his wife Adele discovered an exhausted hedgehog in their garden in the afternoon, they do not yet recommend the animal drama. Because the little Stachler was so weak that he could neither accept neither food nor water and crawled quietly and secretly in the bushes.

Odyssey for animal patients
The next morning the cute four -legged friend was apathetic on the garage input. Dogs “Balu” barked at him, maybe his first guardian angel. The second was called Adele: she recorded the spiky patient, tried again with food and cried St. Pölten Animal Protection House – in vain. Nobody picked it up, not the bell after 25 minutes.

Sterk rode the hedgehog to the capital of the state. A used animal shelter had to send them back to the regret. Due to a new state law, wild animals may not be admitted. The reference to danger helped. The advice: “Drive to a vet.”

“Willi” is lovingly cared for
This is exactly what the ex-jerk did. In Wilhelmsburg, Dr. Jens Wagagal on a voluntary basis of the dying hedgehog. Diagnosis: hardly any 20 percent chance of survival. Nevertheless, he has given infusions to the four -legged friend. At home in Weinburg, a lovingly built canvas was already waiting – built by Adele. Whether Willi can do it is still uncertain. But thanks to the Sterls, he still has a chance
