In Norway, a container ship collapsed from a residential building to the coast. The accident is apparently based on human failure. The mate was overwhelmed by fatigue.
“Only one person was on the bridge at the time. They went to the ship, but did not change the course when entering the Trondheimsfjord, how it would have been necessary,” the NTB press office reported Friday.
A spokesperson for the NTB said that other seafarers on board the container ship that the mate had fallen asleep. The 135 meter long “NCL Salten” ended her journey on Thursday during the dawn in the garden of Johan Helberg – just a few meters from his house. In the meantime, Helberg was in bed in his house and was first awakened by an excited neighbor, the storm read and cried.
On Friday, the bug continued the huge green-red container ship in Helberg’s Garden. Attempts to flap again failed.
Helberg joked a “very form of new neighbor”, which will hopefully disappear soon. The crew of the container ship also got away slightly: none of the 16 crew members were injured.
