On the way: stubborn and blind, a parcel delivery person from Poland on Saturday on his navigation system trusted. The man landed for the first time on an Alpine Hut, but drove on and eventually got stuck at the foot of the Hochkönig massif.
The Polish supplier of the parcel service believed in his navigation device when it led him from the Hochkönigstraße (B 164) to the Erichhütte -Vruchtsoord at the foot of the Hochkönig. There was not yet the end of the end: the man who was stubbornly known on the map device and continued on the Alpine path to the High Alpine area. Finally the package car got stuck and the steering wheel went into the valley for two hours to get help.
The voluntary fire brigade served the vehicle with an extensive rescue operation with two private tractors, which did not pay any damage in the incident. The small truck, accompanied by the fire trucks, drove back to the main road.
De Paal had to pay 600 euros to the emergency services for the self -interim rescue and the effort.
