In Dornbirn, the largest city in Vorarlberg, strangers lubricated an LGBTQI+protection path with swastikas. The municipality hopes to detect the help of the population to detect the perpetrators.
In the period from Saturday 24 May, 10 p.m. to Sunday, May 25, 2025, 6.45 p.m., unknown people rejected a Rainbow Zebra intersection in Dornbirn.
The protection path was lubricated with different swastikas and other letters, as the city announced in a broadcast on Monday.
The protection path is located at the intersection of Moosmahdstraße – Bahnhofstrasse. The white and colorful strips became illegible with black -white swastikas. “The presentation of these Nazi symbols meets the facts of national socialist reactivity and is pursued by the authorities accordingly,” says it.
The city police hopes for eyewitnesses of the incident. Anyone who has made suspicious observations in the Moosmahdstraße – Bahnhofstraße area during the aforementioned period or can provide information about the perpetrators must be reported to the city police on +43 5572 22200. Any perception can contribute to clarification.
