Ukraine accuses Moscow of throwing drones against Kyiv for the third consecutive night and Russia talks about “massive attack” against an airbase.
Since the start of the invasion in February 2022, Russia has launched the largest drone attack on Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. In total, Moscow used 364 air objects, including 355 Kamikaze -drones and nine Kinzhal -Cruise missiles, aimed at various regions of the country, including Kiev.
Ukrainian defenses have succeeded in intercepting 288 drones and the nine missiles, thanks to the intervention of aviation, anti -aircraft systems, electronic war and mobile fire groups.
The Ukrainian capital, Kiev, was attacked for the third consecutive night, with a warning that lasted six hours. Although no victims have been registered, material damage has been reported in the Dnipró district. The regions of Borispil and Farstiv, around KYIV, have also suffered damage to the impact of cruise missiles. Other provinces such as Járkov, Jmelnitski and Dnipropetrovsk have confirmed the effects, although they only call material damage without victims.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has successfully claimed “objectives in the Air Base” of Starkonstantinov, in the Jmelnitski region, in a “massive attack” with drones and precision trips. He has also announced two locations in the province of Sumi, Vladimirovka and Belovodi as part of his strategy to create a “security zone” on the border after repairing territory in the Russian region of Kursk.
Moreover, Russia has claimed that he has demolished more than 100 drones that have been launched by Ukraine against their territory, especially on border regions such as Briansk, Belgorod and Kursk, among other things. No victims or material damage has been reported because of these attacks and the Ukrainian authorities have not yet spoken these releases.
