Another animal and probably also life-saving mission for the fire brigade in Styria: Sunday evening a young falcon got lost in a settlement in Kapfenberg-Diemlach. Observant passers-by saw the injured animal and raised the alarm.
Just after 6 p.m., the fire brigade was alerted to the settlement. A young falcon lay wounded and helplessly squeaking at the entrance of an apartment building. The fire brigade took the young animal to a veterinary clinic, where it was further cared for.
Similar case on Friday
For example, the fire brigade in Wartberg only responded to an animal rescue on Friday: a young swan had injured itself. He was also driven to a vet, treated there, and then returned to his family.
