High penalties are threatened – New rules of conduct in Mallorcas Party Stronghold

If you want to celebrate on the Ballermann, you have to follow strict rules in the future: in the city of Palma on the popular Holiday Island of Mallorca, so driven rules of conduct apply. If you don’t keep up, you have to expect fines of a maximum of 3000 euros.

After the city of Palma has already presented a security concept for the beach area known as Ballermann, the rules for the entire city now follow. On Saturday, the town hall of Palma published the new rules of behavior in the BoIB Official Journal, as reported by the “Mallorca Zeitung”. Depending on the severity of the violation, fines threaten to a height of 3000 euros.

Drawn and loudspeaker forbidden
Alcohol consumption in public spaces is prohibited according to the rules of the behavior if it disrupts general cooperation. Without, drug use and loud meetings are therefore against the rules. The city also takes measures when it comes to noise: speakers may not be used for public buildings, in residential areas or at lively locations.

So -“Balking”, ie climb from balcony to balcony or jumping balconies in the pool, and similar acrobatic activities are also prohibited.

Order on the street
Individuals are not allowed to buy goods from unauthorized street sales and the Hütchenpiel is also prohibited. Those who throw away their waste on the street also break the rules. Restaurants and bars that sell products to remove away must now have their own trash can and ensure cleanliness within a radius of 25 meters.

No soap in the showers
There are much to consider for the holidaymakers on the beach. Here it is forbidden to use soap in public showers. You should also not process glass or other sharp objects in the sand and are prohibited without permission.

Strict camping rules
Caravans and campers may only be parked in the same place for a maximum of ten days. Outside the camper is setting up tables, torn or the like is prohibited. Moreover, campers are only allowed to camp in officially designated places – but there are currently none in Palma.

Helmet and warning with e-scooters
A helmet and a warning vest must be worn while driving e-scooters. The drivers must also take out liability insurance with a coverage of 120,000 euros. It should not be driven faster than 25 km/h and not on sidewalks, in parks or pedestrian zones.

Restrictions on city travel
Even those who want to participate in a city tour must adhere to new rules. Guided groups can consist of a maximum of 35 people who are the city guide, including the city guide. In principle, it is forbidden to perform the tour with a vehicle. However, these regulations only apply from the beginning of 2026.
