In the night of Wednesday, the Russian army claimed a massive drone attack through Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Defense, “296 drones were shot” – 13 regions were hit.
According to the authorities, three people were injured in the Kirowohrad region. Air traffic was also affected: the airports of Moscow, Scheremjewo, Wnukowo and Schukowski were restrictions.
Residents without electricity
In the attack, 76 private houses and a residential building with nine malfunctions were also damaged. 1400 inhabitants were without electricity.
Moscow Mayor Sergej Sobjanin announced via Telegram that 33 drones with the goal of Moscow had been shot in the new Ukrainian attacks.
“Provocation”
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the most recent drone attacks were mainly influenced by the southwestern region of Brjansk. From there, 59 drone attacks were reported. Further drone attacks were directed against the Kursk, Belgorod, Tula, Orjol and Kaluga regions. The ministry spoke on Tuesday about a “provocation”.
The most recent attack took place after the Ukraine had stated that it had been exposed to the most intense Russian drone attacks since the start of the Russian offensive in 2022. According to Kiev, Russia covered Ukraine on weekends and on Monday with a total of more than 900 drone attacks. 13 people were killed in the attacks on Sunday, including three children.
