The State Weather Service Aemet published the second highest heat warning Orange for the Sevilla area in Andalusia. This means “serious risks” for health, especially children, older or health -weakened people. It is also very hot, for example in Madrid or Saragossa. On the Mediterranean island of Mallorca the temperatures are relatively pleasant 28 degrees, in the Canary Islands it is “only” 25 degrees.
In the north of Spain, the heat can be accompanied by violent hailsters and gusts of wind, according to Aemet.
