Drama for Orphans – Silent Children Tears during the return of operations

Date:

All hope was in vain: three years after 52 Ukrainian orphans had found a new home in Burgenland, they were removed in a night and fog campaign, Krone reported. In buses, accompanied by the police, the return to his old home country started, which still falls on Russian bombs.

They are heartbreaking images in the otherwise depressing silence of the night: Supervisors do not want to show their grief, different children cry gently, others cling to their soft toys while waiting to get into the buses. Well learned, the children go hand in hand to the pitchered parking space.

Two buses with a total of four Ukrainian drivers are waiting there. In a first phase, the orphans are brought to the Polish border area in Przemyśl. Previously here it should go by train to Ukraine this Sunday evening. Shortly after 2 a.m. accompanied by police officers who asked the Ukrainian embassy as accompanying protection, it starts. Behind the dark slices the children are sitting on their seats, wrapped in blankets – see also video above …

Evacuated on a hail bomb – now back to the war
We blindly back: three years ago the 52 girls and boys without parents – at that time many babies, no older than six years – were saved from the orphanage of the industrial city of Kropywnyzki in the center of the country. There, in the basement of the facility, they were looking for protection against the drone and rocket hail at the start of the Russian attack war.

In a former 4-star Golf Hotel of the Senacura group in Burgaudberg-Neudauberg (Güssing District), the orphans found a new house. Pascale Vayer with the ‘Little Hearts’ association was particularly touched around the small Ukrainians. She said goodbye to the children a few days ago. She does not want to look at the withdrawal of the operation. Vayer cannot stop the tears on Sunday morning.

Supervisor shakes: “Unfortunately it is too late”
In addition to the mental scars, a third of their protégés have a limitation, six are seriously disabled. Now the Ukraine brought their children at home. Some orphans come to adoption parents, another to promote parents or in family -like structures. The serious disabled people will probably come back to the orphanage.

The protests were in vain, nothing eventually helped. The hope that there can still be a solution or delay on the last second. It is also a farewell for Johannes Wallner of the Senacura group. “Unfortunately it is too late. We can only hope that the children in Ukraine will do well,” he says when Pascale Vayer desperately calls him with his mobile phone.

Six wheelchairs and children’s buggies remain in the empty parking lot like a bleak symbol …
