Gulnar Ismailova and her son Umut (8) save a lifeless five -year -old in the Linz Parkbad. His parents apparently had not noticed that their child had stayed under the surface of the water for a few minutes. For inexplicable reasons, Nagib had led his head under water and he perhaps drove in the pool for about two minutes before the 37-year-old and her son pulled him out. The little one was successfully resuscitated.
If Gulnar Ismailova (37) and her son Umut (8) were not in the Linz Parkbad on Sunday afternoon – the little Nagib (5) would no longer live.
“Umut absolutely wanted me to go to the adventurous pool with him,” says Mama Gulnar. In the area of a hard -see area, under a bridge, she saw a child in the water about one and a half meters.
Short in the water
“I saw a blue short and first thought this boy is diving.” But when he did not move, she suspected something was wrong. “I told the score that he quickly dropped and looked down. He came up and meant that the little one did not move.”
Together they brought the child from the bottom of the pelvis and pulled it out of the water. “The boy no longer breathed, I immediately started with heart pressure massage,” says the kindergarten teacher, who has first aid training.
Parents had lost the overview
In the meantime, the boy’s parents – the Mödling family – were also aware of the drama. With five other children and a companion, they had stayed close to the pelvis, but did not notice the accident. Apparently they had lost the overview because of the lively bathing company.
“Another bathing guest also helped to breathe new life into.” After about a minute and a half the big breath: the small nib started to breathe independently, his eyes opened. “We were all overjoyed that he lived,” says Gulnar.
The rescued boy was taken to the Medcampus IV of the Kepler University Hospital for observation. It is in the normal department, the situation is stable.
