Niger claims: – France stands behind the kidnapping of Eva G.

Date:

The head of the military government in Niger against France increases serious allegations. The former colonial power is said to have arranged kidnapping of foreigners in the Sahel zone through local accomplices. One of the victims would be the Viennese development assistant Eva G., kidnapped in January.

A certain “Boubacrar Dabounguel” was put into use by Paris to recruit “three bandits”, reported the niggical info portal “Air info”. These would have kidnapped the Austrian Eva G., among others. In this context, the news page quoted Junta -Baas Abdourhame Tiani and also wrote about a Spaniard in Tamanrasset in South Algeria and a Swiss in Agadez in the north of the Niger, who were also abducted. In the interview with national television, General Tiani said that these abductions were aimed at “scoring investors” and “forcing the European Union to stay next to France to return to Niger”.

The Niggian army had reversed the democratically elected President Mohamed Bazoum in July 2023 and took over the power in the former French colony. Since then, the Niger has been in the bitter argument with France. The former colonial power was accused of mass exploitation of the African country, the population of which is one of the poorest in the world. France had just moved to a fifth of the Uranium from the Niger by 2020. Uranium can be used as a fuel for nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons. Just like his neighbors, the Niger built close relationships with Russia. According to media reports, Iran is also interested in the purchase of uranium reserves for his nuclear program.

Development Helper Sold to IS?
The 74-year-old Eva G., who had been living in Niger for almost three decades, was kidnapped from her house in the Nigrian desert city of Agadez on January 11. Various sources from the region suspect that the kidnappers have sold the hostage to the Islamic State. According to information from “Aïr info”, the woman of IS is trapped in the Sahel zone in the painting area. This was not confirmed by the official niggian side. The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a crisis team to the region.
