A five-year-old girl fell from a window on Monday evening at a social-educational care facility in the Zwettl district of Lower Austria and was seriously injured.
According to the police, the girl climbed to an open window around 5:30 p.m. while playing and fell 12 meters from an initially unknown cause. Shortly afterwards, the victim of the accident was flown to the Donaustadt clinic in Vienna with the helicopter “Christophorus 2”. According to the hospital, the five-year-old is in intensive care and his condition is currently stable.
