With its switch published in 2017, the Japanese Nintendo Group created the Allround GameConsole, which can be used at home on TV and when they travel. Now the successor is there: Switch 2 has more computing power, a larger display, removable magnetic controller with mouse function and a new “Mario Kart”. Act bearings of the second generation of the Allround Console fruits? We have the test.
With the Nintendo Switch 2 everything is a little larger screen, controller and also the (game) prices. The console alone costs 470 euros, 510 in the package with the new “Mario Kart World”, the game alone costs 80 euros. These are juicy price increases compared to the first generation: the last “Mario Kart” costs 60, the first switch at the market launch 330 euros. The accessories also became more expensive, even the “tutorial game” for the hardware. Does Nintendo’s novelty convince despite the price shock? In the test some new functions knew how to inspire – others not (yet).
