According to the Health Authority there, at least 45 people who waited for trucks with relief supplies were killed by the Israeli army. Dozens of people were injured in the incident in Khan Younis in the south of the Palestinian coastal area.
There was no explanation from Israel on Tuesday. In earlier incidents, the army admitted that troops had opened fire near auxiliary posts.
However, Israel blamed the provocations of Palestinian extremists for violence. Almost every day there are fatalities through shots at output points for food.
