Shots in quantity – Gazak interest: dozens of dead at auxiliary distribution point

Date:

According to the Health Authority there, at least 45 people who waited for trucks with relief supplies were killed by the Israeli army. Dozens of people were injured in the incident in Khan Younis in the south of the Palestinian coastal area.

There was no explanation from Israel on Tuesday. In earlier incidents, the army admitted that troops had opened fire near auxiliary posts.

However, Israel blamed the provocations of Palestinian extremists for violence. Almost every day there are fatalities through shots at output points for food. The narrow coastal strip has long been closed by Israel. Auxiliary supplies only come in thin. The approximately 2.3 million people in Gaza Strip suffer from the lack of food, clean water and medication.

Until distribution centers criticizes as “dangerous”
Israel has given the responsibility for the distribution of a large part of the auxiliary supplies, so that it remains in the Gaza Strip, in the hands of the new Gaza Humanitrian Foundation (GHF) supported by the US. The GHF maintains three distribution points in areas that are guarded by Israeli troops. The UN rejects the procedure. They criticize the GHF distribution as insufficient, dangerous and not impartial.

Before the GHF, UN organizations such as the UNRWA had spread large-scale relief supplies. In total, many more than 50,000 Palestinians were killed in the war, which had lasted since October 7, 2023. The reason for the war was the most important attack by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas on October 23, 2023. In one day the extremists killed in one day in one day and celebrated around 250 as a hostage in the Gaza strip. 58 hostages are still held in the Gaza Strip, but the majority of them are no longer alive.
