British Navy: important effects on systems
Since the outbreak of the war between Iran and Israel, there have been reports of disorders of the navigation systems of ships approaching the street of Hormus. The British Marine (UKMTO) SEEELERSHIP Supervision has explained during the weekend that there are important effects on the Automatic Ship Identification Systems (AIS) with which navigation and shipping data are exchanged via radio.

The authority recommends being careful. Disruptions must be further reported to Uktmo. The authority has not provided any information about the reasons for the disorders.

Iran threatened to block the hormus road
Iran had previously threatened to block the strategically important trade route. More than 20 million barrels of oil are transported every day on the narrow marine road. If Iran closes the route, a fifth of the global oil supply would be influenced and even a quarter of the global liquid gasting sports. So there would be huge price increases.
