An incredible tragedy occurred in Indianapolis, USA: Tuesday evening (local time), the bodies of a missing family man (27) and his three children were found in a pond. The deceased would often have gone fishing there at night.
The body of Kyle Moorman was discovered by hikers, and moments later the police were also able to find the lifeless bodies of Kyle Moorman II (5), Kyannah Holland (2) and Kyran Holland (1) in the water. Moorman’s family had already searched the area in the days before, but without success.
Family and volunteers have searched themselves
The missing were last seen alive on July 6. “As far as we know, he came here to fish,” his sister Mariah Moorman explains, according to USA Today. “It’s not unusual, he does it often. They often go fishing at night.” The family had offered a $10,000 reward for tips — a private helicopter and volunteers with a boat also searched the pond before the bodies were discovered by hikers.
The car containing the children’s bodies was tracked down using sonar technology. The black Saab was eventually removed from the pond and the horrific discovery was made. The family of the deceased is making serious accusations against the police: they should have searched the pond earlier when it became clear that the man and children were missing.
