Curious scenes took place in Vienna-Meidling early on Tuesday morning: witnesses warned the police because they noticed a visible young driver in a damaged car. According to observers, it is said that the man has checked the vehicle “fairly unsafe and roughly through the area”.
When the officials arrived, the damaged car was already parked on the sidewalk. Shortly thereafter, the alleged steering wheel climbed from the vehicle and was stopped immediately.
Young people were acquainted
It turned out that it was a 14-year-old. The young person made an extensive confession in the first investigation. He had hit the car side window, used a key in the glove compartment and started the car without further delay. According to his own statements, this should not have been the first time – the man admitted that he had already opened many other cars, hoping to find a key there.
Various items insured
During the search there were also cash of around 2300 euros, two knives, a pepper spray, various tobacco products and a damaged garage opener. The alleged stolen goods were guaranteed.
Researchers are currently assuming that the young person, together with at least two accomplices, could be responsible for 40 to 50 car trousers in the urban area. So far, the 14-year-old has not given any information about the two alleged midtones.
The LKA accepts information about the two strangers under 01/31310-57800. The young person was reported to the public prosecutor by order.
