There is nothing that does not exist – and what is not stolen: this is proven by a curious case in Sölden. A 29-year-old Romanian who lived in Tyrol regularly stole bread from suppliers. The man also plundered newspaper greenhouse. The motive: applies.
The clearly hungry thief has repeatedly stolen bread from transport boxes from suppliers who have been parked for private houses since the fall of the previous year. With an e-scooter, the initially unknown always came out of the dust.
Civil servants lurked and handles
“The excitement among the population was already great because of the bread theft,” says Adriano Raffl of the police in Sölden. For civil citizens, officials led to dawn when waiting. Successful! Because they were now able to investigate a 29-year-old Romanian who has long been living in Tyrol and works in the Ötztal community.
“The motive was a shortage of money and also has an addictive reference,” Raffl reveals. How much bread the man actually stolen is still unclear. “We also don’t know if he then sold it through,” says the researcher.
Romanian known
In the accommodation of the 29-year-old, the police also found seven broken cash register that was demolished by newspaper stands. The e-scooter that the Romanian reportedly received was also guaranteed. “He is confident,” Raffl emphasizes.
