Fire alarm on Wednesday afternoon in Kitzbühel (Tyrol)! The balcony of an apartment building suddenly caught fire for unknown reasons. Fortunately no one was injured. The extent of the damage is unclear at this time.
On Wednesday around 4.30 pm the sirens blared in the Gamsstadt. The balcony and wooden facade of a third-floor apartment had been set on fire. When the city fire brigade arrived, a full fire could be seen from afar. The Floriani disciples used a turntable ladder to enter the apartment, but luckily no one was in it.
No injuries
After about an hour and a half, the extinguishing and fuse work was completed. “No one was injured in the fire,” police said. The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing. The Kitzbühel volunteer fire brigade was deployed with 30 emergency services and seven vehicles, a police patrol and a police fire investigator.
