Instead of an auction house – BMW from Extreme Grain ends up in the wreck exchange

Date:

Was that in the sense of the Finder Finder? The second car, which the authorities have permanently taken in Upper Austria, does not end up in the auction house, but in the “exclusive” wreck exchange.

Looking back on February 9: A lower Austrian (18) in his BMW 118D, as reported, fought a 27 -kilometer chasing with the police, ran through the local area of Kemaat am Innbach at 132 km/h, where he finally built an accident and landed on the roof with his vehicle.

The Authority seized the BMW-ALL requirements for a shield, according to the Razor Law that had been valid since March of the previous year. But: “According to the law, the vehicle must be used as well as possible. After it is poorly damaged, it is auctioned by the wreck exchange,” explains Rene Mühlböck, head of the security department of the responsible district manager Grieskirchen and Eferding.

Only dealers can offer wreck exchange
That means: instead of the general public, only registered dealers can now offer the expired BMW with more than 300,000 kilometers. The Wreck Exchange is an internet platform on which damaged vehicles are offered. Each dealer can only have an offer in shares – the highest receives the contract.

The meaning of the wreck exchange: the buyers of the broken vehicles usually only expand only individual parts from the cars.

A forced auction in the auction house
Only since the Raser ACT came into effect, the vehicle of a leading foot in Upper Austria has been auctioned in an auction house. The VW Passat, built in 2002, won a selling price of 2000 euros last November.
