On Friday evening, a resident fell with his car over an embankment in Rauris in Salzburg. His dog was able to get out of the vehicle and wandered on the road.
Friday around midnight, the 29-year-old was on his way from the Rauriser Tauernalm towards the Wörth district. At the height of the Gollehenalm he got his car over a slope. The vehicle rolled over several times before coming to a stop on a flat surface after approximately 30 meters. The man’s dog was able to get out of the car and ran across the road.
Alcohol test showed 1.1 per thousand
With this, the loyal four-legged friend attracted the attention of the next motorist. The driver discovered the badly damaged car and the injured passenger. He notified the emergency services. Rauris mountain rescue and fire brigade rescued the man. He was taken to the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic. A breath analysis showed 1.1 per thousand.
