In the night from Thursday to Friday, a serious accident happened on the B320 in Styria. A 20-year-old German is now fighting for his life.
At about 2.30 am, a 20-year-old from the Liezen district was driving with two friends on the Ennstal trunk road from Schladming in the direction of Gröbming. At kilometer 22, he rammed into a 20-year-old pedestrian from Germany who was traveling in the same direction.
Helicopter to Graz . Regional Hospital
The man suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision. After first aid from the emergency doctor, the rescue helicopter “Christophorus 17” transported the German to the LKH Graz.
It is still unclear what caused the collision. The driver’s alcohol test was negative. The B320 was closed in both directions for approximately 45 minutes due to the rescue operation.
