According to medical circles, four people died in a large fire in a centrally located telecommunication building in the Egyptian capital Cairo. At least 21 other people were injured, as the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.
The fire broke out on Monday evening and had led to far -reaching disorders in the mobile network, internet access and banking. Trade on the Egyptian stock exchange was also temporarily stopped on Tuesday.
Chaos at the airport
According to informed circles at the airport, there have been around 100 flights since Monday. Emergency services of the Civil Protection Authority were able to control the fire after a few hours.
