A fire took place near a campsite in the south of the Tuscany. A few hundred camping guests had to be evacuated. There is also a fire in North Sardinia, where the airspace was blocked.
A large -scale fire has recorded a pine forest near a campsite in Castiglione della Pescaia, a well -known holiday destination in southern Tuscany in Italy. For safety reasons, around 600 guests from the campsite were evacuated and taken to safe areas with buses provided by the municipality.
Civil protection has set up an emergency camp to take the affected, while the municipality spread drinks and supplies, as the media reported. In addition to countless fire units, the army, which supports the fight of fire with extra fire trucks, is also on site. There are also houses and other tourist facilities near the campsite.

Air space blocked over Sardinia
The airspace above Olbia in northern Sardinia was closed due to a large-scale fire near the Sassari-Olbia State Road. The airport “Costa Smeralda” remained open, but as the operating company Geasar said, incoming flights were diverted to Cagliari, Alghero and Rome.
