A gang from the Czech Republic specialized in expensive bicycles and could now put a stop to it. The criminals are charged with 13 burglaries in specialty stores, six of which are in Lower Austria.
They caused a total damage of 155,000 euros. The investigation initially focused on two men (34, 42) who were caught red-handed in a burglary in Ybbs, district of Melk (Lower Austria).

Further investigation led officials to three accomplices. In Germany, a 34-year-old is already in prison, in the Czech Republic a 37-year-old has been arrested. An accomplice (30) is still on the run.
