The Volkgarten in the Lend district have had a more radio reputation for many years. It is considered the hotspot of the Graz Crime. Drugs and robberies are the order of the day, just like Grands, as well as Grove, Mobbing and Violent Excesses. Exactly a year ago, the Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) subsequently prescribed the establishment of a protection zone to make the park more attractive and to contain crime.
