A 14-year-old from Upper Austria has to answer for sexual assault and coercion. With an accomplice who is not of age, he abused classmates over a TikTok challenge.
It paid off! Two students from Grieskirchen have already been expelled from school for an abnormal TikTok challenge. Now the older man, just 14 years old, has to answer to the criminal court in Wels. The indictment is ready and the trial is scheduled for July 26.
Classmates mistreated and touched immorally
The student is charged with coercion and sexual harassment as an accomplice. And in the process, he probably won’t be spared the question of what came to his mind when he did this act. So far, he has dismissed the attacks on his classmates as a joke. While imitating a TikTok challenge, he and another boy allegedly abused and indecently touched classmates by inserting fingers or objects into their anus.
The 14-year-old was not alone. A 13-year-old was also investigated, but he is not yet criminally liable. “In the case of a third boy, the investigation has been discontinued due to lack of evidence,” explains a spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office in Wels. He was also only 13.
Classmates members silently
The violent games in the classroom on April 4 were exposed. A victim confided in a teacher, who informed the parents. The attacks are said to have happened during the breaks, but also once during the cooking class. There would be several victims. A father told “Krone” at the time: “My son has changed a lot in the last six months, his grades have gotten worse.” In high school they tried to sensitively process what had happened to the children.
Following the complaint, the perpetrators were suspended from school and had to leave their original school. As they are still of compulsory school age, they were placed in two different schools.
