The Duchess of Cornwall called Strictly Come Dancing heroine Rose Ealing-Ellis a “star”, adding that her family voted for her on BBC One during a visit to the East Enders shooting range. Charles and Camilla drove to Elster Square in Albert Square before meeting the series and the crew that wrapped up filming for the episode in honor of the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

Deaf actor Elling Ellis, who plays Frank Lewis on the show, presented Camilla with a bouquet of flowers, adding that it was “an honor” to meet the Duchess. Camila, who wore a silk dress and beige Anna Valentine jacket, said, “Rose, a strict star.

“I said we all voted for Rose. I don’t know how she did that dance.”

Then Ealing Ellis asked him if he was looking sternly at the Queen, and Camilla said to her, “I think so. He might have been watching you. You’ll find out.”

After the meeting and farewell, the actor said, “It was really funny because he’s a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and said he voted for me, which is really cool and his grandchildren are watching. Unbelievable, such a favourite.”

“I mean, come on, the royal family is voting for me.” “Sometimes I forget how many people watch the show, I get nervous.”

A special moment came during the mass shooting of the cast and members of the royal family. Leticia Dean, who plays Sharon Watts in the TV series, told the Prince of Wales, “Put your coat on, wise one,” forcing Charles to take off his coat and put it on his shoulders.

This chivalrous act was followed by applause. Dean, who appeared on the first episode of Soap in 1985, later said, “Thanks for giving me your coat, it smells good.”

He then introduced Charles under the Albert Street Square banner, which is covered in the actor’s signature, alongside Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell. “On behalf of the actor,” he told Charles, “let’s hope he’s hanging over the fireplace.”

The royal couple were shown the new EastEnders set, which was originally scheduled to be completed in 2018. During the meet-and-greet, Camilla told actress Gillian Tailfort, who plays Katie Bell, that she was watching her at EastEnders when she left. First time.

“He said we were very young at the time and it was nice to see the old faces,” said Telfort. “I said I’d been there for 15 years, and then I left and came back from the dead.”

In 2001, the Queen visited soap queen Barbara Windsor, who played Peggy Mitchell on the filming of EastEnders. He visited the Royal Queen Vick, took a stroll in Albert Square and EastEnders Street Market, and met the stars of the show.
