A non-binary person – a 21-year-old born woman who describes herself as a man – was sexually harassed Saturday morning at a club in central Vienna, popular with LGBTQ people. The suspect – a 20-year-old – was ejected from the bar by security personnel, after which he allegedly threatened a bouncer with a broken glass bottle.
As Christoph Verhnjak reported when asked by APA, the suspect may have become extremely pushy and ended up calling a security force on the scene. The 20-year-old then behaved aggressively towards the police
The native Syrian was eventually arrested by officers from the downtown police command. It is being determined on suspicion of dangerous threats and sexual harassment. The suspect was found to have an alcohol percentage of 0.22 per mille.
