A player from the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria single-handedly cracked the double jackpot of the lottery and won about 2.2 million euros. The tip, worth millions, was checked in the eighth field of a regular ticket filled with twelve tips.
Luck means good with Upper Austria. At least with some of those people who play the lottery. Because this year, several Upper Austrians could already look forward to a rain of money. A player who handed in his ticket in Linz took home the highest profit. There was 9.8 million euros in the pot.
At five with an extra number, the pot remained closed. There was no profit and so a jackpot awaits Sunday that will be filled with around 190,000 euros.
