The police also help – falling from an office chair: rescue helicopter has to go inside

Date:

Neither the police officers in the Bavarian town of Lindau on Lake Constance nor the crew of a requested Swiss rescue helicopter are likely to see such an operation very often on Thursday afternoon. Emergency services had to move after a 53-year-old man fell from an armchair in his office.

A patrol from the Lindau Police Inspectorate was called in on Thursday afternoon to provide spontaneous assistance. A 53-year-old man had fallen from his desk chair in an office for unknown reasons. He suffered a cut to his head and a broken nose.

Police officers at the scene had to break a window in a back door of the office to help the helpless and injured man. An ambulance was then called by helicopter from Switzerland to treat his injuries, and he flew the injured person to the hospital in Ravensburg for further clarification.
